 LESSON 2

Technology: Boon or Bane?
" Technology is in our hands. We can use it to build or destroy".

INTRODUCTION
After understanding what educational technology is all about, it may be good to reflect on wether this thing called technology is boon or a bane to education, a blessings or a curse to education.

ABSTRACTION

Let’s go back to the question asked at the begging of this lesson. Is technology boon or bane to the education?  If I will rate myself up to 10, boon is 10 and bane is only 4 because it's depend on us in what way we are going to use the technology... But if we abuse and misuse it and so contribute to our ruin and downfall and those of other persons, it becomes a bane or a curse.
Technology is just like a cart use to carry heavy things that we don’t carry by our own.  If we don’t have enough learning and knowledge, any ideas from the sources of internet will get aware of the things that you will never expected… for example,. Do you know how to hack password in face book, wifi connection, and software installer password? You can! if you have information that you can get in the internet. Using in the technology in the classroom is very useful or a Boon because using technology made as complete or a competent about learning process. But sometimes other people is usually abuse their freedom, they watch phonographic sites. This can kill time and have a greatest influence to have sex to opposite sex. What should we do to be able to stop this kind of bane our society? What can we do? If we are responsive teachers soon we are going to stop and avoid or have a protest to kill phonographic sites.

Lesson 1 Ed Tech
Educational technology during the period of Ancient civilizations
According to Paul Saettler, 2004, Educational technology can be traced back to the time when tribal priests systematized bodies of knowledge and ancient cultures invented pictographs or sign writing to record and transmit information. In every stage of human civilization, one can find an instructional technique or set of procedures intended to implement a particular culture which were also supported by number of investigations and evidences. The more advanced the culture, the more complex became the technology of instruction designed to reflect particular ways of individual and social behaviour intended to run an educated society. Over centuries, each significant shift in educational values, goals or objectives led to diverse technologies of instruction.

Educational technology during Medieval and Modern Period
Paper and the pulp papermaking process which was developed in China during the early 2nd century AD, was carried to the Middle East and was spread to Mediterranean by the Muslim conquests. Evidences support that a paper mill was also established in Sicily in the 12th century. The discovery of spinning wheel increased the productivity of thread making process to a great extent and when Lynn White added the spinning wheel with increasing supply of rags, this led to the production of cheap paper, which was a prime factor in the development of printing technology.

As what I have understand to ed tech technology  we are in the computerized world and full of edited life.... so we have to create the life with a full of passion...    I like to edit a picture, so I want to share my picture above....
My understanding about  educational technology is the contribution of strategies ..
